What is MeetingJets?
MeetingJets is a free macOS menu bar app that displays your Google Calendar meetings as colorful jets on a runway at the edge of your screen. When a meeting starts, a jet flies across your display and can auto-open the video call.
Does MeetingJets work with Google Calendar?
Yes. MeetingJets connects to Google Calendar via official OAuth with read-only access. It syncs your events within 60 seconds and never modifies your calendar.
Can MeetingJets auto-join Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams?
Yes. MeetingJets detects video call links in event descriptions and locations, then opens Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams automatically when your meeting launches.
Is my calendar data stored on a server?
No. MeetingJets has no backend servers. Calendar data is processed locally on your Mac and is never sent to external servers. OAuth tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain.
What macOS version do I need?
MeetingJets requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. The app lives in your menu bar with no Dock icon and can optionally launch at login.
Is MeetingJets free?
Yes. MeetingJets is free and open source. Download the macOS app directly from this website with no subscription required.
